Witherslack is located just inside the Lake District National Park in between the towns of Kendal and Grange. Our location provides handy access to the A590 meaning famous Lakes hot spots like Windermere are just 13 miles to the North, but you can also be on the M6 in less than 15 minutes (by car).

We’re proud to be a local ‘hub’ within our beautiful village and love to do what we can to support our community. Witherslack itself is situated in the Lyth Valley sandwiched between Whitbarrow Scar and Yewbarrow (known locally as The Noddle) – you’ll find some great walking, running and cycling routes directly from our front door. Witherslack also has a Community Shop just next door to us and a brilliant plant centre that’s definitely worth a visit (Abi & Tom’s Garden Plants).
