Pub with rooms, South Lakes
Six en-suite rooms above a proper village pub, with Windermere 13 miles to the north, the coast close by and the M6 less than fifteen minutes away.
Stay in Witherslack
The south Lake District is wonderfully varied: the lake and boats of Windermere and Bowness, Newby Bridge at the foot of the lake, the market town of Kendal, the historic houses and gardens around Levens and Sizergh, and the villages and shoreline of Morecambe Bay. The Derby Arms puts you within easy reach of all of it, without the crowds of the busiest honeypots.
Our six well-appointed en-suite rooms are comfortable and characterful, with brass beds and freestanding roll-top baths in some, and all of them are dog friendly. Downstairs you’ll find a proper bar with an open fire, a dining room and a kitchen focused on Cumbrian produce, so dinner is a few steps from your door.
Planning something special? If you’d like flowers, wine or champagne waiting in your room, or a bespoke package, just call and we’ll do our best to arrange it.
